The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, has dismissed as «completely absurd» the accusation made by Russia without any evidence linking Ukraine to the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. He made this statement in an interview with German TV channel ARD, which was published on April 7 and quoted by Tagesschau.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, a concert venue in Moscow, took place on March 20 and claimed the lives of three people. Russian authorities have accused Ukraine of being involved in the attack, claiming that the perpetrator had received support and training from Ukrainian security services.
However, Budanov strongly refuted these allegations, stating that they are baseless and lack any evidence. He emphasized that Ukraine has always been a peaceful and law-abiding country, and it is in no way involved in any terrorist activities.
