5th September saw the Ukrainian actor, volunteer and former member of the “Orchestra Che” Mikhail Kabanov laid to rest in Kharkiv. His funeral was held at Cemetery No. 18, according to “Suspilne”.
Mikhail Kabanov was a beloved figure in the Ukrainian arts and entertainment scene. He was known for his commitment to the arts, his passion for the stage, and his tireless work as a volunteer.
Mikhail was born in Kharkiv in 1975 and graduated from the Kharkiv State Institute of Arts in 1997. He then joined the “Orchestra Che”, a popular Ukrainian folk band, as a vocalist and guitarist. He was with the group for five years, before leaving to pursue a solo career.
Mikhail was also a passionate volunteer, working with local charities and organizations to help those in need. He was a regular volunteer at the Kharkiv Children’s Home, where he would often organize events and activities for the children. He was also a regular contributor to the “Suspilne” newspaper, writing articles on a variety of topics.
Mikhail’s death has left a void in the Ukrainian arts and entertainment scene. He was a beloved figure, who was admired and respected by many. His legacy will live on through his work and his commitment to helping others.
